Black Eagle creates these visionary masks as a contemporary statement of his warrior art. They are rooted in the traditions of warriors all over the world. They have a feeling of lightheartedness, but they also can be serious, as reflected in their titles. They represent spirit figures, such as wise old warriors, medicine people, tricksters, or people of high status. Each warrior spirit mask is unique, guiding Black Eagle's hands and giving voice to itself in its own way.

Seamlessly together on a mask
He is making in silence
Believing the myths of his tribe
